These magnesite earrings have the look of turquoise without the price tag. They are made of magnesite teardrops with a pewter cone on top and a pewter ball at the bottom. The magnesite teardrop measures approximately 22mm or 0.87 inches long by 12mm or 0.47 inches wide. The pewter ball drop has a 6-petal flower design, and it measures approximately 11mm or 0.43 inches. The earrings dangle approximately 3 inches from the top of the ear wires.
In nature, magnesite is usually white. This stone is often dyed a variety of colors, and it is especially dyed to simulate turquoise.
